[VIDEO]: JENNIFER LOPEZ'S ROLE IN 'THE BOY NEXT DOOR' REVEALS A SEXIER SIDE OF THE ACTRESS

Jennifer Lopez is everywhere this week promoting her new movie The Boy Next Door, and the interviews she's been giving reveal a different J.Lo.

"I refuse to be put in a box," J. Lo, 45, told Kevin Frazier about doing sex scenes after 40. "Because I'm over 40 I can't be sexy? Or is it because I'm a mom? Moms aren't allowed to be sexy?"

She's fearlessly silencing critics in her upcoming thriller in which she plays Clair Peterson, a bored, divorced housewife that gets into a sexual rendezvous with her teenage neighbor Noah, played by Step Up star Ryan Guzman, 27.

"I hate that they have a label for a woman who would date a younger guy," J. Lo told Ellen DeGeneres. "If a younger guy's interested in you, what's the big deal?"

J. Lo will continue to break the mold for not only herself but also her more seasoned fans.

"This is a good message, because people try to put women to sleep at a certain age," "I didn't even know who I was in my 20s and early 30s, honestly. I've come more and more into my own self every single day."
