George Clooney and British lawyer Amal Alamuddin arrive on Monday at the Palazzo Ca’Farsetti in Venice for their civil ceremony, making them legally wed under Italian law. Their wedding was held in Venice on Saturday.

It's official!

Mr. and Mrs. George Clooney are now legally wed after their civil ceremony took place Monday at the Ca'Farsetti palace in northern Venice, reports Yahoo.

The newlyweds arrived via their boat, Amore, to the municipal building in the Italian city at 1:25 p.m. local time Monday.

Clooney and his bride, human rights attorney Amal Alamuddin, greeted cheering fans with smiles and waves before the ceremony.

Wearing a gray suit and tie, the 53-year-old actor looked dapper as Alamuddin was divine in a cream pantsuit with a black waistband and matching hat.

The ceremony lasted about 10 minutes and the couple emerged from the building hand-in-hand for the first time as an official bride and groom before once again boarding their boat and heading off into marital bliss.

Clooney and his 36-year-old wife celebrated a star-studded wedding on Saturday in Venice with the former mayor of Rome, Walter Veltoni, officiating the nuptials.

Clooney and the wedding guests were escorted by a dozen water taxis to the opulent Hotel Aman where Alamuddin spent the night and awaited the arrival of her groom.

Attendees included Bill Murray, Matt Damon, Bono, Ellen Barkin, Anna Wintour, John Krasinski, and Emily Blunt, to name a few.

In keeping with the private affair, friends and family were given phones with a special code to use all weekend and were asked to leave the phones in their hotel rooms during Saturday's ceremony and reception.

"If you see someone taking a photo with a phone … you can help by notifying security," the couple wrote in a statement.

The wedding was followed by a reception, which included a five-course banquet prepared by renowned chef Riccardo de Pra, Us Weekly reported at the time.

The Clooney's continued their celebration Sunday with brunch followed by dinner.

Monday's civil ceremony sealed the deal, officially making them Mr. and Mrs. Clooney under Italian law.

Shortly after, the couple was spotted at the Venice airport leaving the romantic city as man and wife.
