[Breaking News]: Chris Kelly of 1990's rap duo Kriss Kross died in Atlanta home..

Entertainers young and old in Atlanta and all over hip-hop mourn this evening as news has began to spread that former teen hip-hop pioneer Chris Kelly of the popular 90's group Kriss Kross has been found dead in his Atlanta home this evening. According to the Fulton County Medical center Kelly was pronounced dead not too long after 8p.m. this evening. The rap duo Kris Kross were very popular in the early 90s for their rap talent at such a young age and famously wearing athletic attire and backwards pants. After connecting and signing with So So Def CEO Jermaine Durpi Kriss Kross quickly reached success on the billboard chart with their hit single “Jump” Chris Kelly will be missed the the entire hip-hop culture. Kelly, known as "Mac Daddy" performed alongside Chris Smith, known as "Daddy Mac," in the early and mid-90s. The duo might be best remembered for the song "Jump" from their 1992 debut album which stayed on top of the Billboards for 8 weeks, "Totally Krossed Out."

Celebrities took to Twitter to send their condolences. “R.I.P Chris Kelly. May GOD embrace your soul & lift up your family,” tweeted LL Cool J, while Nicki Minaj added, “So sorry to hear that. Sending love to his family. RIP Chris.”
